Well, here we go... another summer in the pool. It's actually still a bit cold but they go in anyway and nap great after! It's really going to be about another 2 to 3 weeks till the water is refreshing and not freezing but Ryan is reseeding the grass and so we needed to make use of the pool for some entertainment.

Spring Training

So Ryan's Uncle Tom was in town for spring training (and made it to the girls 3rd bday party too) and Ryan and I wanted to make a game (don't even ask who was playing cause I could have cared less) so we met up with Uncle Tom, Ryan's dad and my mom and dad at a game. This required the girls missing a nap and a very fun day out in the sun caused them to want to just lay down and "nap for a bit while we watch the horsey movie on the couch" as Cali said the second we walked in our door. she was the most energetic all day and was sooo exhausted after our day. I failed to take pictures or videos at the game cause the girls kept us BUSY but this is the after math back at home and a video as well of us leaving the game with the girls happily carrying their blankets and following their shadows.

Have I ever mentioned that Jocelyn is a pokey little dawdler, this is a perfect example. she is so funny.

Again back at home.

Reincarnation

We couldn't just take down these pretty little things. We had to reuse them in a more permanent way. So taking the idea from Jocelyn Sr., we put these up in the playroom as a decoration and it looks perfect.

Pictures of the party

The girls had a great day and so did all the other kids. It was a great day.

The girls think party = balloons

I love these pom poms and the girls were super thrilled when I brought them out today to decorate for the party. Thanks to their Aunt Jocelyn who couldn't be at the party this year but sent her little crafty poms to me to fluff and hang in her honor. The girls LOVED them so thank you.

I can't believe they're 3yrs old!

I am truly amazed that I have 3 three year olds. That's like saying I have 3 kids! Not babies, Kids! And they are growing up so fast. In three more years their birthday party might be a sleep over not just pizza and presents, and though they chase boys now it might be for an entirely different reason then just to play. I just can't believe it, but I love it!

Cali and her cousin Ryan. Soooo cute!

Feels Like Summer but it's only nearly Spring!

These are a few things we've been doing in our nice weather lately

A little pool time in the play pool.

We have been coloring and playing with play doe outside at least once a day.

While Ryan has been re tiling the trim on the base of the outside of our house on the patio and doing the touch up to the paint the girls have been following him around and therefore taking their lunch in the great outdoors as well.

Of course you can't have a pool hose without the pleasure of playing elephant.

And of course it's not all in our own backyard either. We have gone to the park for picnics lately too. We even took the girls on our 10 yr anniversary.

Sorry it takes me so long to blog and when I do it's always overkill.

Hair cuts

Lately, I've been thinking about chopping the girls hair off. not because I didn't like their hair long but considering they didn't really start growing hair till they where about 1&1/2, it was looking very scraggly because it had yet to get long enough to be one length all around. I figured if I chopped it now it would look more thick and full.
It is pretty short but I like it. I think it takes their hair out of the baby thin look and makes it more like a little girls cut. The girls like it too. They keep wanting their picture taken and have been through a couple photo shoots already.

OK, these are bad pictures but I think they're funny since it Jocelyn's way of posing these days. She grabs her hands and squeezes her entire body tightly till it shakes and forces a smile while saying cheese. It's hysterical!
